David Acord is a professional sound designer, re-recording mixer, and supervising sound editor for post-production film and television, currently employed at Skywalker Sound (a division of Lucasfilm/Disney) in Marin County, CA. David is also a Film, TV and Video Game voice talent and Loop Group artist.
David has been nominated for two Academy Awards (Best Sound Editing) and two BAFTA awards (Best Sound). He also has thirteen Emmy nominations (two wins), twenty-nine Motion Picture Sound Editor Golden Reel nominations (seven wins), and a CAS nomination.
